This is the first time I've used shoes like these and it is also the first time in decades that I have run consistently; I'm an amateur marathon kayaker looking for cross-training. Aside from the body generally protesting and getting used to running again, it has been quite a revelation for my feet and learning how to run efficiently. After two weeks I'm beginning to bed my body in and I'm really liking running in the HFSs as opposed to my 'normal' trainers. I will definitely have a look at the other offerings.
These shoes are incredible. I've taken them walking, road running, light trail running, and even doing bootcamp-style workouts on grass, and they feel great in every situation. I definitely recommend following the guidelines for getting used to barefoot shoes. I've been using Inov8 shoes with a 3mm drop for about 6 years, and also been walking in rubber-soled socks for a few months prior to this purchase, which meant I could just put them on and run without having to think. I recommend also looking up foot strengthening and ankle mobilising exercises if needed to make a smooth transition. While I loved the Inov8 shoes as well, these take comfort and ground feel to whole new level, and the wide toe box gives me foot space to be mobile within the shoe. It's a snug and secure fit around the ankle, so the space doesn't come at the cost of it feeling loose. I've been a fairly reliable size 10 US across brands for some years, but 11 US fits really well for this model. The exchange process was simple and fairly quick, and the customer service was excellent.

Its been a journey to minimalist running shoes, after reading Dr Phil Maffatone's recommendation, reading up on what is good running technique and other running lingo, jumped in an bought this shoe. Well, they are everything other reviewers have said - very comfortable, wide toe box, lightweight, breathable and stylish. I can feel the road, yet stepping on a stone isn't a problem. Love the 5000 mile guarantee on the sole - I hope to get more than 7 months out of a pair of running shoes. I recommend following the advice on adapting to these shoes if you haven't worn minimalist shoes before. They keep getting better the more I wear them. I recommended them to my husband and he bought a pair too. Speedy delivery times.
I was pleasantly surprised to find out that these shoes are all they were advertised for and more. I find myself wearing them all day long and until bed time!! They are great to walk in (all surfaces) and They have not felt uncomfortable or limiting at all. Overall excellent shoes!
These are my first Xero Shoes and I simply couldn't be happier. They are so comfortable and light and are just a pleasure to run in. They even look great too, so I find myself wearing them all the time! Thanks for a great product!

Great running shoe. Leaves the Prios for dead. Run on foot paths, asphalt and light trails with the shoe responding great on all surfaces. Sizing is the same as the original Prios for me, sizing up half a size
